1) how, when and where was the kinky afro project born?
It was 2008, outside it was all bangers, its pattern was already so predictable and redundant then we thought to look at Italo, Rare Groove and Nu Disco.
2) why this name?
Because it all began in Africa and we ain’t no saint, oh for the Mondays song of course.
3) which records are always in your dj bag?
Serge Santiago, Todd Terje, In Flagranti, Faze Action and The Magician counting on one hand fingers.
4) who’s going to be your twin for the night of the 8th of October?
I could answer anything to this, an upside of being twins… isn’t it?
5) close your eyes and think about the word Abattoir, what comes into your head?
Nothing that could be published on a public page and that’s why we are thrilled already.
